Cold Days!

Hey bloggers!

I don't know what it's like in your area, but we are having some FREEZING cold weather this winter. We have had four "cold days" off of school so far, and today is one of them! It doesn't look like tomorrow is going to be any better, but we haven't gotten the official call yet. Everyone that doesn't get the day off says, "Yeah, well you'll just have to go longer into the summer!" Eh, who cares. We only have to make up a maximum of 5 days and what's the difference between June 2nd and June 6th? Nothing. I'd much rather be waking up and heading to school when the weather is nice than getting up and getting ready in in below zero weather!

We've been able to get some things done around the house on our days off. We finally got the canvas art hung in the dining room...
and the nursery!
You can check out how I made the canvas art {here}.

We've also had some snuggle time. The flu went through our house last weekend. The little guy is still trying to fight a cold that he got at the same time! Snuggles are a must!
He also turned 3 months old this weekend!

Switching gears...have you heard of Citrus Lane? I'm really liking it! You pay a monthly subscription fee and get a box of goodies for your little one! Here's our January box...
We got a board book (which he loves!), a taggies soccer ball, a wooden car, and dapple soap (for washing bottles & such). All keepers! They have different subscription options (monthly, 3 months, 6 months, or yearly. I'm already looking forward to our box next month!! So if you think you might be interested for your little one, go check out Citrus Lane!

One other baby related item before I get to teaching stuff :)

Are you familiar with The Honest Company?
I signed up for their free diaper & wipe package. Here are the diapers we received!
How adorable are those?! The Honest Company sells monthly diaper & wipe packages that are mailed to your house. Check them out if you think you might be interested! :)

So on one of my "cold days" I made a quick trip to Target! I found a few cute things in the dollar spot. A clipboard and some alphabet stamps...which are always great for word work & stations!

You might also want to check out Educents right now. They have some freebies posted!

And the last 2 things for today...
A 100th Day of School Linky with Mrs. Miner's Monkey Business! Make sure you check out my 100th day of school packet and freebie!
And my Valentine's clipart was in the Teacher's Notebook newsletter! Check it out :)
