Mother's Day Key Chains!

Hi everyone!

This week we finished up our Mother's Day gifts!
I absolutely LOVE how they turned out and the kids were super excited about them too!
The first time that I saw this project was over at Simply Kinder (love her!).
I have wanted to try Shrinky Dinks for a few years and finally decided to this year for our gifts.

Here are the steps I used:

⭐️I printed the line templates straight onto the paper. Each piece is about 2” x 4”.
⭐️Then I cut them out and had the kids use permanent sharpies to write their sentence and name. I wrote the year myself.
⭐️I hole punched them with a standard one hole punch at school.
⭐️AtAt home, I put parchment paper on cookie sheets and put 5-6 keychains on each cookie sheet so they wouldn’t touch.
⭐️I “cooked” them for about 4 minutes at 325°.
⭐️Then I added the key rings on! They turned out SO cute! I even had my son make a few for parents & grandmas. 😍
The next day at school the kids made cards and I taped the key chains inside.
They were so excited to take them home to their moms.
And now I am loving Shrinky Dinks and want to find more projects for them!
