We are so lucky to be teachers!

I feel lucky to be a teacher for multiple reasons...

(1) The kids!

I get to work with some pretty cool kids every day. Sure, sometimes they push my limits. But I genuinely have a good time with them each day. They keep me smiling!

(2) The rewards!

It is SO rewarding to see the change in the students from the first day to the last day. They make academic gains, social gains, emotional gains, and gains in independence. It is so great to be a part of that and help them along the way!

(3) The co-workers!

You know teachers are awesome...and I'm surrounded by some awesome ones every day! I really like my co-workers. We keep each other laughing, even on those difficult days. They are like a second family and I have some awesome friends at work!
