Hi everyone!
This summer, we moved into a new house! It is only about 15 minutes away from our previous home, but it is SO much bigger! And it's in the school district that I wanted for my son to start kindergarten in the fall.
I have loved having the summer time to really organize and decorate without feeling stressed about having to go to work everyday at the same time!
Today I want to share some pictures with you!
I'll include links for the items that I can in case you are looking for something similar!
Kitchen
I love the kitchen so much! It is very clean looking with all of the white and has nice upgrades.
Here is the decor. You can find the prints {here}.
I am obsessed with these metal stools! They are perfect for my teal accent color that I use around the house. You can find these stools {here}. This was the best price that I found as I was looking around! They were about $42 per stool.
Playroom
I have spent the most time on this room. I wanted to make sure that it was one of the first rooms that was fully setup so that my son had things to do while I was working on other parts of the house.
This part of the playroom has books, notebooks, construction paper, and crayons.
The white storage cube can be found {here}.
The white storage cups are from Ikea's Sunnersta collection {here}.
The black tables are from Ikea's Lack collection {here}.
I also used one of the Ikea tables to make a lego table!
I simply used velcro to attach the lego bases to the table.
This is how I organize the toys in the playroom. Everything has picture & word labels so that toys can get back to the right place!
These storage items arefrom Ikea's Kallax collection {here}.
I didn't want to put too much decor in the playroom, but I did hang these up on the wall in there.
The wool ball garland are from Etsy, the frames are from Hobby Lobby, and the prints are in my TpT store as a freebie{here}.
Spare Room-Calming Corner
This is in our spare bedroom. I want to amp up my Calming Corner at school this year so I decided to try a few things at home with my son this summer. I decided to use a rocker so that he could have some movement while he is trying to calm down. I used an old dresser to store the items. The calming labels and activities are from The Social Emotional Teacher {here}.
Here's a peek inside the dresser drawers!
The sensory items can be found {here}.
The books can be found here:
Laundry Room
The baskets and frame are from Hobby Lobby.
Main Floor Bathroom
This bathroom had some minor updates already done, but it still felt a little old.
I decided to add some shiplap paper.
It's actually Better Than Paper from Teacher Created Resources {here}.
It turned out pretty great!
Basement Half Bath
The basement bathroom is mostly used by my husband and his friends (all 30 somethings).
These signs {here} crack me up and I felt like a bathroom for guys was the best place for them!
