Back to school time can be stressful...very stressful. And we all know that it is also difficult on our bank accounts! I have found a few apps that I really like using to try to cut down on those difficult costs! Hopefully you will enjoy them too!

1. Amazon
I love amazon. When I find something that I like online or in a store but don't love the price, I always take a picture of it and then check for it on amazon (like Mr Sketch Markers or my Scotch Laminator & pouches). I almost always find a lower price. Plus, I'm a Prime member so I don't have to worry about the cost of shipping! Love.
2. Cartwheel
If you've ever read my blog, you know I love Target. I do. I use this app every time I am in the store. Each week they have different deals on the app. I frequently use app discounts for groceries, diapers & wipes, women's clothes, and makeup. You can get some pretty good deals! This week I got 40% off Oreos. Haha. And in the past I have gotten 30% off palazzo pants & maxi skirts. Definitely check it out if you shop at Target a lot!
3. Ebates
Ebates is another great app. Ebates works with certain stores/websites to give cash back. For example, If I shop on the Kohl's website right now, Ebates is offering 3% cash back. So 3% of my total will be put into my Ebates account. I believe they pay out quarterly. The percentages change from time to time as well, Once I got 10% back on a Kohl's purchase! I usually get my biggest payments from them around Back to School time and Christmas time!
4. Shoparoo
I am fairly new to shoparoo but I like it so far! Now, it doesn't exactly save you any money, but it does donate money to schools! When you sign up, it will allow to choose what school you would like to earn money toward. Every time you make a qulifying purchase somewhere, you take a picture of your receipt on your phone and submit it through the Shoparoo app. You get a certain amount of points based on how high your purchase total was on the receipt. The more points you earn in Shoparoo, the more money that is donated to your school! If you get colleagues and parents involved, your school could get a large amount of money! **If you decide to sign up, use my code (TUR43890) and we both get extra cash donations!

This app is very similar to Ebates, however they sometimes work with different stores. I often find if a store I want to shop online at isn't on the Ebates site, it is on the Top Cash Back site. So make sure you always check both! Again, you earn a percentage of your total back into an account that pays out certain times a year.

6. Shopular
I just recently started using Shopular. With this app you can select your favorite stores and they will show you discounts and sales currently running at those stores and how long they are going to last! I haven't been using it long but it is nice to be able to quickly pull them up when I am at the mall so that I can see which stores I want to hit!
7-9. Ibotta, Checkout 51, Saving Star
These are all apps that I use while grocery shopping. During the summer I shop for random things whenever I need them but during the school year I do big week or 2 week trips! They get expensive. With these apps you can look through before your shopping trip to see what they have discounts on. Their items usually have  .25, .50, .75, or $1.00 rebate. I make a list of the things that I want to make sure I get them at the store. Then you take a picture of your receipt, submit it (sometimes you also have to scan the bar codes of the items you purchased into your phone), and get money into your account! When you reach a certain amount, you can withdraw it! Taking pictures of the receipts and scanning the bar codes can be time consuming, but to me it is worth it to get the money back later!
Hopefully you will find some of these useful in saving you money this school year! :)
Enjoy the giveaway!

Soon I'll be hosting a Fabulous Follower Giveaway of my own. Please go {here} if you would like to join in!
