Clipart Organization!

Hey bloggers!

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! It's been a little rainy here, but I'm still enjoying the time home with my little man. We did an indoor photo shoot yesterday since it was raining :)

I just happened upon this awesome giveaway over at Melonheadz! TONS of clipart plus some other awesome prizes!

Also, Krista over at Creative Chalkboard also has some of her clipart on sale! I bought her August Exclusive Weekly Graphics-Can't wait! We are doing a space theme at my school this year, so I also picked up some of her space clipart! Love it.

Speaking of our space theme...here is my hallway bulletin board for the fall (yes, I already did it). Love it!
{I'm including it as part of my Monday Made It}

The black background is wrapping paper that I picked up at Walmart.
The Aliens can be found {here} from Carson-Dellosa.
The polka dot letters can be found {here} from Carson-Dellosa.
The rainbow stars border can be found {here} from Creative Teaching Press.
The chevron border can be found {here} from Creative Teaching Press.
The chevron letters I'll have to get back to you on...can't remember where those are from!
The rocket I made myself...I just looked up a picture of a rocket on my phone and drew on construction paper. The flames are tissue paper!

Since I'm all about getting clipart right now, I decided to show you how I organize my clipart on my computer. I have a lot of clipart that I've purchased, and I need to be able to find what I want, right away. I've seen people with huge binders and those look super cute, but they wouldn't be quick and effective for me. Here is how I organize my clipart so that it's easy to find, and easy to credit to the creator!
(click images to make them larger)

I have them first organized by topic. This way, any clipart that I have that is Alphabet themed (for example) is all in one place.

If you click the Alphabet folder, you would see this...
This shows all of the Alphabet clipart I have organized by the person that created it!

Then if you choose a creator, like Creative Clips for example, you would see this...
any clipart sets that I have by that creator that are Alphabet themed!

So there you have it...that's how I organize all of my clipart so that it's easy to find whatever theme I want, AND easy to credit the creator! Hope that helps :)

For my second Made It item...I have finished my Teacher Planner/Calendar Books for the next school year! I printed mine and just have to take it to Staples to be bound (costs about $4). If you're looking for a Teacher Planner and don't want to spend $60, check out my store! There is a chevron, polka dot, or zebra theme. :)
