5 for Friday & Freebie Friday & Made It Monday

Big post today!
I'll be joining in with 3 linky parties today: Five for Friday with Doodle Bugs Teaching, Freebie Friday with Teaching Blog Addict, and Made It Monday with 4th Grade Frolics!

First up: Five for Friday!
Here are my five for the week! It was our first week back...and it was a busy one!
(1) I woke up on time EVERY DAY. This was quite an accomplishment for me. My sleeping schedule was so crazy over break, I wasn't sure how this first week back was going to go. I was finally wiped out by Thursday night though and went to bed at 7pm! It was wonderful :)

(2) I started winter assessments this week. I have 5 assessments that I have to get done by report card time. I got 2 of them done this week! One was our math assessment and the other was a reading fluency assessment. They're both pretty quick. I'll be started their reading level assessments next, which will take awhile :/ I was happy about getting the first 2 assessments done though! The kids were troopers about it.

(3) I did a serious closet clean out! My closet is a bit ridiculous. I have way too many clothes. So I cleaned it all out and made a resale pile and goodwill pile. It's so nice being able to actually see what I own and be able to slide hangers around!

(4) I got some new items finished! I put together some 1-120 Valentine cards and some 10 frame activities (you'll read more about these below-keep reading for a freebie!). I also started some new items...I'm currently finishing up my set for There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Rose! I love these books :) Check back for that soon!

(5) I went shopping with my mom. My parents had been in California for about a week for my uncle's funeral. It's been a difficult time...plus my mom has had the flu and was finally starting to feel better. So it was nice to get together for the day. We hit up Michael's, Target {my fave},  Dollar Tree, and Sam's Club for some groceries. At Michael's, Target, & Dollar Tree I was looking for cheap things to use in math stations! I found some foam stickers, erasers, and plastic hearts that I plan to use for counters. I also got some different sized canvases for a DIY project around the house I'm planning on doing! {Somehow, I resisted the urge to buy new clothes at Target...I soooo badly wanted to fill up the new holes in my closet...but I didn't! Are you proud of me??)

Next up: Freebie Friday!
Here is a 10 frame activity {freebie} that I created. I plan on using this as a math center. My kids will be using the foam stars that I got as their counters for the 10 frames.

And finally: Made It Monday!
(1) My 1-120 Valentine Counting Cards!
TpT    or    TN
(2) Letter J in a Frame
I used my Silhouette Cameo for this project! It's a J for Jacobson :) This will be on display in the house somewhere! (Sorry, it was hard to get a picture without the reflections! This was the best I could do.)

(3) This next project isn't quite done yet...I'm working on a canvas picture display. I have a large canvas picture from our wedding at the end of our main hallway. I want to start putting smaller canvas pictures around it. Instead of paying for canvas pictures this time, I'm going to try something I found on pinterest! You mod podge your picture onto the canvas and then mod podge scrapbook paper onto the sides of the canvas! Here is a picture of the quote canvas that will be part of the collage! Our first dance at our wedding was to Darius' Rucker's "History in the Making" & this is a lyric from the song! I love it.

(the mod podge is still drying in that bottom pic!)

So there are my linkies! I have a linky obsession...is there a support group for this?? :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend & go link up!
