My Life

Hey bloggers,

I don't usually post much about my personal life...but I need to. It has been a difficult few weeks.

February 15th, hubs & I found out some amazing news...we're expecting! It has been SO hard to keep it a secret but I wanted to wait until 12 weeks to make the announcement, so we had planned on telling all of our family on Easter.
(pictures of how we announced)

Two weeks ago, hubs woke up with tingly feet & legs and the feeling wouldn't go away. He's been to multiple doctors and we still don't have a final answer yet.

With everything going on, we decided to announce to our families a little sooner than planned just to relieve that little bit of stress. Then on Easter, hubs' grandma passed away. She has been sick and fighting for months. It was expected, but with all of the other things going on in our lives, that didn't make it any easier or less stressful.

Hubs & I are both on spring break this week...I'm ready to go back to school and get on a regular schedule. I never thought I'd be saying that.

I hope we finally get some answers next week and can move on with treatment! I'm trying to stay positive and think about the little one...like how I can't wait to find out the gender! I don't know how anyone goes without finding out until birth. I'm too impatient for that!

Anyway, thoughts & prayers are much appreciated right now...so send your positive vibes to Illinois for us please :)

  1. Wow! What an eventful few weeks. It's tough when everything comes at you at once! But it sounds like you are doing a good job focusing on the positive. (Your easter egg baby announcements are adorable, btw!)

Wishing you a happy pregnancy & answers to all of your hubby's health questions soon and sending lots of happy thoughts your way!!!
