Well, it's tomorrow...Halloween! Our district allows us to have Halloween parties. We have an all school (K-3) costume parade followed by the party (an hour). I send home a note asking for parent helpers for each party. Someone sends in drinks, a few people send treats, someone comes up with a game, and someone comes up with a craft. Then we will run the party in stations and any parents that show up can help monitor the groups. I have a student this year that cannot participate in the party...for this reason, I will run a "normal" day in the morning so that this student can still participate in what we're doing. I mean, it will be as normal of a day as I can make it anyway!
Do you celebrate Halloween in your classroom? How do you run your parties?
Here are the sign-up sheets that I use. I put them out on meet the teacher day and send them home a few weeks before a party to get any more volunteers that I need and them again right before the party as a reminder! TpT or TNbook
I have also posted some calendar cards for November & December!
I also posted some simple clipart...
Some Halloween trees for {free}!
And some Christmas trees!
Have a Happy Halloween! :)
The Halloween and Christmas trees are simply ADORABLE! Thanks for sharing.
