My students have recently fallen in love with some beginning reader chapter books!
In first grade, students make SO much progress in their reading. They go from reading simple sentences to wanting to read chapter books. However, some of their favorite chapter book characters may still be too difficult in first grade.
But not anymore!
Scholastic has a new series of books called Acorn Books.
They are easy chapter books written like graphic novels.
